In the final episode of 2023, Bex is joined by two team members, Claire and Chris, from Specsavers Recruitment Services who support our stores with all their recruitment needs and guide candidates through our recruitment process.
Chris and Claire shed light on some of the reasons they believe Specsavers is a fantastic place to develop as a clinician. We're also joined by Sarab, an Optical Partner at our Southsea store, to talk about how is career has progressed into joining Specsavers as a partner.

For World Menopause Day, Bex is joined by Lou Furby, Co-Chair of the Menotalk colleague network. The pair discuss the importance of the ensuring menopause becomes a more widely discussed topic of conversation and the impact some symptoms can have on women in the workplace.
 
 

Chris Smith, Retail Director with Specsavers Home Visits, joins Bex to share what Black History Month means to him and why. The pair also discuss the role of the embRACE colleague network within Specsavers and how this community can help us better support our colleagues and customers.

 Bex is joined by Zack, Peter and Tamila who all in their own ways work on or with the IT Service Desk. It's such an important role to sort out any IT issues that arise in store and keep things functioning smoothly.
We hear about the skills needed to make the role a success, development opportunities and what's next for our 3 guests.

Bex is joined by Alison Vaughan, Specsavers Audiology Partner and Rebecca Attrill, recently qualified Hearing Aid Dispenser. We hear about Alison’s journey to becoming a Specsavers Partner which included a big career change. We hear about the process of becoming a Partner with Specsavers and the amount of support available for new Partners.  
Rebecca talks about the process of starting a qualification with Specsavers and an experience during her training which confirmed working in audiology was the right career for her.
